How to create a web page, web, web page, create,

Publishing web pages these days is actually more straightforward than it was once. Largely due to demands ensuring web publishing software. Generally, there are a few steps that can be followed.

Before you actually get started, really plan what you intend to publish in the first instance. Noting that a web page is actually just one single page, will it just be that or a larger web site with a few linked pages available?

Then consider the theme. Is it business or personal? Somewhat different approaches are taken for one or the other. For example, personal may be less formal in style.

When you are clear on these considerations, you can actually start the page. While you can draft some rough plans if you like, it is not essential to do so. However, making draft plans can help the overall design. Consider the actual page structure, and how the content might be arranged. This is most important, and then the actual content to be included.

Hereafter the fun begins. Getting the page done on computer, can either be via HTML and Java coding, or via specialised software like Front Page. HTML stands for Hypertext mark-up language, and is the basic scripting for all web pages, but there is also Java which is a progression on from it. If you are proficient in either you can use a scripting tool, if not then software like FrontPage would be better.

In FrontPage, the page is done by selecting from the editing options available. You just select what you want, and then its position on the page. More like moving and dragging, and then entering the text into it.

At any rate, you should preview and review your web page once it is seemingly complete. Use the preview feature in FrontPage and it will display a preview display in the browser. If it is satisfactory, then you should consider the final step of uploading the web page. If not, then make the necessary changes.

Uploading the web page (or site), requires some web space and a host. Provided by most ISP, you will need to be registered with one. Do this, and then you can upload the page via the software (like FrontPage), which will have relevant options, to the host. Of course, if you are business user, then you might want to register a domain name also. This is a unique name included in address.

With that, you can view the web page in the browser. At any rate, remember than it can still be changed and updated if necessary by making the changes in the editing tool you used.

Overall, it's really 4 or 5 steps: plan, design, review and upload the web page. Then you can view the page, and update it if necessary.
