Playstation 3 Error Codes: How to resolve them

Learn what to do if your Playstation 3 gives a problem. Read the list of possible errors codes and how to resolve them.

0710102 - Error DNS, DNS server not available.

8001050B - Don't start demos on the hard disk when you have a Blu-Ray added. Unknown cause.

80010510 - Don't start games on your hard disk. Unknown cause.

8002b241 - DVI has no audio.

80028EA5 - Unknown.

80029023 - Exchange of key information timed out.

80029024 - The Attempt to obtain an IP address timed out.

80029564 - Game downloaded does not install. Unknown cause.

8002F997 - You cannot upgrade the XMB firmware.

8003051E - Game does not write.

80031150 - The settings are not be save. Possible System blue screen "Setting information is corrupted. Press the X button to repair and restore default".

80130203 - PS3 connects to the Internet, but not to the PSN. This could mean that the ports needed to connect to Store are not configured.

80710092 - "An error occurred. You were disconnected from the Playstation Network" - (the Internet connection lost?).

80710102 - PS3 can not start the connection with the information configured with the IP router. Try renice the router.

80710541 - The connection to the server timed out.

80710B23 - PSN is offline, or the PSN is too busy to respond.

80710D23 - Off the PS3 for a while (30 min) with the AC switch (not standby mode).

80029024 - "Could not get an IP address."

80028EA5 - Unknown - User cannot connect to PSN. Sony said user to take to get the PS3.

8002F997 - Trying to update the PS3 firmware, downloading the update file for USB and attempt to install failed.

80710016 - Playstation Network is offline.

8013013E - WEP keyError, replace WEP key for all the numbers and try again, or to replace WPA.

8013030F - Check page of the router, off SSID Broadcasting.

8002F994 - Many people are making downloading updates. Please try again later.

80028F10 - Go to Settings and choose presentation HDMI (or whatever your connection) and choose Auto, not Custom.

8002A705 - Unable to connect to. Server. Check the router settings doors.

80030920 - An error occurred during the copy operation. The file may be corrupt or there is a lot of memory. Try copy of its original location.

80010514 - total failure of the Bluray drive.
