If you think there is a psychology to products you use on a daily basis marketing, you are right. Marketing, Imports and The Economy should focus more on "America" and it's borders than some countries across it's borders.
New York City, a huge menagerie of Metropolis with advertisements for every product imaginable to the human eye. From Coca-Cola to LG electronic products, you see tons of creative marketing ideas that catch your attention and make you think. What gives you the motives throughout the day to grab one soda over another? It happens to do partially with the subconscience mind and the images that are brought forth on the media you are watching whether internet, phone, paper media, or television, you are going to notice ideas and words that capture your mind.
Soda like coke is a sweet concoction of sodium bicarbonate, high fructose corn syrup, and extra flavors. It fizzes and bubbles in your mind when it's not in your mouth. That is why you want it so much after pushing it to the back of your mind due to the images that you see on media. If you had picked up a coke in a store not knowing what it was, you probably wouldn't drink it again unless it was bright, flashy and glitterful. There are fast food sales, potato chips and gum sales identical to this.
Not only are places in Asia a major campaign to the world for electronics and goods, but America is as well. America is still one of the highest quality of goods in the world that tests, manufactors and creates products for the world's courts. America's junk food is everywhere, America's s&p and gdp is still high regardless of the competitiveness of their very good allies Japan and China. America produces goods that individuals buy on a daily basis in countries throughout Europe and many other continents. Policies on imports and exports should be more carefully taken care of rather than endorsing products such as foreign goods. Some foreign goods are marketed to a melting pot of individuals of all walks of life, but what about small businesses made by the melting pot become mainstream products through hard work, dedication and perserverance based on their story and heritage?
Imports are graciously inexpensive but sometimes the last choice of purchase due to language barriers and needs of a particular item. We are finding many products throughout the stores that we are purchasing have higher concentration of chemicals like lead which is found in paints on our household items. We buy these items for a lower price than our own goods and from places that shouldn't sell defective items anyway.
We embargo products from our nation's borders because of past policies which envolved diplomacy problems. We rather buy products across the ocean than our neighbors in Mexico, Cuba, South America, and Haiti. Odwalla is a great product that is has better taste than some of the energy drinks on the market like Monster. Any age can enjoy a bottle of Odwalla rather than drinking another product promising the same ideas but not delivering it. Odwalla could really help Haiti's economy if we promote their product and help them to make it a stable drink all over North America.
There is not enough oil in the world to run all of our automobiles, why are we going to the Middle East which is a very good alley, very nice place. Barrels are rising every day and some places shooting up in price more than we can afford rather than relying on some of our borders and our own soil. We allow British Petroleum Companies to drill on our land but then in return, we buy oil from BP, and it doesn't make sense. We used to have companies like Texaco and Shell, but the companies went down because of the need of Foreign oil. If we start to use our own resouces, maybe we can pay our debts off and shake hands again.
Individuals are buying wholesale really cheap and making a profit. Is this sort of attitude the one that we should avoid? We should be buying fair trade wholesale from Countries that need a lift. The wholesale items from Fair Trade sales are high quality and well produced. Fair trade is both a trade between a group of women that make ethnic items and goods that help support their family and community. We are buying cheaper items elsewhere that mass produce the items that women produce with their own hands that are more sturdy and less easy to be destructive.
Society is becoming more fast paced and it's easier to lose sight and get caught up in so much advertisements, sales, products, celebs endorsing otc goods and not focusing on the small things that have worked all along regardless of who says, "it's the best". Brick and mortar is much better than commercialized things that lead to an addiction, inflation and not buying the name brand because it is so expensive. What did you use to begin with? Stick with it because you used it, granny used it, and granny's granny used it. That's brick and mortar, not an addiction to a chemical in a product but the recipe that made it what it is.
