How to brew your own beer at home!

You can brew your own beer at home. It is really easy all you need to do it is a homebrew kit which you can buy online. There are different kits out there, so make sure you get one with everything you need. If you are just starting out you can get a starter extract kit, but as you become more advance you can get a lager more advance extract kit, or you can get an all grain home brew kit. I would fully search some homebrew shops to figure out which kit is right for you. If you need help figuring out what you need I'd ask around on a homebrew forum.

The kit comes with everything you need. Carboys, yeast, hops, bottles, caps, sanitizer, capper, sipon, malt extract, boil kettle, mixing spoon, bottle filler, fermenting buckets, temp gauge, hop bags, etc...

I started homebrewing not too long ago. I've only brewed a couple batches. But it is really growing on me. Once you learn how to brew your own you can start to add anything you want to the beer like fruit, sugar, etc.. you can play with the flavor and alcohol content as much as you want. If you get really good at homebrewing you might be able to start your own brew pub!

Here the basic steps:

  1. Boil all the ingredients together. This includes: water, hops, malt, and specialty grain.
  2. Ferment all the stuff you boiled by adding yeast after it cools
  3. Bottle or keg your beer
  4. Enjoy

I found a forum that helps with homebrewing if you want to learn more: http://www.homebrewtavern.com
