The basics of positive thinking, the elements we need in order to be positive, focused, efficient and happy with our lives. When you distil it down to its very basics living a positive life with a really positive attitude essentially only affects just a few important aspects of your life.

To have a respect for the people that are around us and for their obvious contributions, especially the contributions that you make.

To have a really strong belief that things happen for a reason, and that the reason serves you, whatever it is.

To have a conviction that no matter how good or how bad things may be, they are going to get better -- and you can help make them become so.

To have the knowledge that positive people are the ones who make the difference in life -- how many pessimists do you know who have been successful and have done anything worthwhile with their lives?

To have the dedication to live the most positive life that you can, no matter what you may have to face along the way.

To have an understanding that good things happen -- repeatedly -- to those people who are looking out for them.

To have a commitment to form and foster positive habits and decrease negative ones.

Those are the essentials, the basics of positive thinking and once you make them a part of your life, you will see a significant improvement in the amount of success that you achieve.

Positive thinking, being optimistic, is an attitude of mind and once you have that attitude, the entire world around you looks different, the way you respond to people is different and the way they respond to you is also changed.

People who are optimistic live a healthier life than pessimistic people, because their attitude of mind and positive outlook on life means that they face and overcome the adversity situations with less stress.

The greatest discovery in our generation is that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives.

Develop an optimistic outlook on life through self-affirmations and with the technique of visualising your goals and dreams.

Look at every difficulty as an opportunity, seize the moment, and be thankful for every minute of your life.

And just remember, that your living is determined not so much by what life brings  you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.

Think positive always have an optimistic attitude and good luck on your journey of life’s enjoyment.
