Movie Review: The Forgotten
What have you forgotten? It's the things that should not be forgotten that make us who we are today.
In the movie, The Forgotten, Telly Paretta, (Julianne Moore) refuses to let her son and 10 other children be part of The Forgotten after a plane crash kills all of the children. Telly's psychiatrist, Dr. Muncie (played by Gary Sinise in the movie) is the father of one of the children, is starting to forget. He starts encouraging Telly (played by Moore) to forget because she needs to let go to move. When the images of her son start to disappear, she realizes that there is more at work than a plane crash. This makes the movie, The Forgotten a very intense movie indeed. It is really powerful and full of incredible imagery.
The Forgotten will keep you on the edge with emotion. The movie, The Forgotten, takes you on a range from joyous to devastated...from happy to completely angry. This is a movie that will remind you what family is all about. It is not about what you can remember. It is about what should not be Forgotten.
The movie, The Forgotten, really does make you stop and think about your own relationships and family. There are often things in our lives that we just take for granted. Yet, with the movie, The Forgotten, we can all learn some pretty important lessons about life in general. This is really a good movie for everyone to take the time and see. You will be glad that you did. After all, it's what shouldn't be Forgotten that will help us remember who we are and the true value of our family.

I love this film but the sappy, happy alternate ending is lame. I like the spooky ending where creepy rubber-face guy gets sucked up by the dark force.
This is a movie that will remind you what family is all about. thank you !
I checked out this movie when it came out in the theaters a few years ago and it moved along slow and then got very strage. It was a creepy film.
