Runescape, 99 mining with or without a bot!

Where is easily enough answered, anywhere without people! Feel free to change worlds when yours gets too crowded! Some of the better spots are deeper in the dwarven mine, Rimmington, East Varrock and for members yanille. Once you reach level 60 however the mining guild is a good choice but a lot of people tend to be there, if you are powerleveling the mining guild won't really help. If you are botting then the bot will automatically go where there is ore, since it is a bot that will waste time but not your time, there isn't much you can do to correct that, if you are actually doing it yourself then it is best to come to an unspoken agreement with other miners in the area that these 3 iron are yours and those 2-3-4 are theirs. This keeps you both mining none stop! A bot will fight with someone over every single rock which wasts both your time!

What? Well if you are level 1 then you need to mine copper/tin which I would suggest dropping unless you want to smith them as well. Mine those until level 20, YES you CAN mine iron at 15 but unless you find a mining spot all to yourself you will level faster mining copper and tin if there is any competition over iron rocks you won't win!:( Once you reach 20 then mine iron until 60, now you can either go to the mining guild to bank some coal and mith, or there is a nice mine in the wilderness above edgeville and since they took out PVP in the wilderness it is much safer now minus the skeletons! At level 85 I would suggest mining in the guild as their are a lot of rocks and not many people will mine quicker then you!

How? Well that depends! Do you want to be rich, get your smithing up or just get a high mining level? If you want to get rich or get high smithing then you need to bank mine which takes quite a bit longer then power mining! You need to mine a full load which is 28, if you can hold your pick then do it (equip as a weapon) it frees up an extra slot for bank mining so you go just that bit faster! If you can't no biggy. This will amass quite a bit of ore that you can smelt or sell for quite a bit of XP or money!:) Power mining is different, when you are doing it you simply mine, mine and mine, you drop or give away everything you mine. The best ore to powermine is iron as it gives good experience and around level 50 you mine it nearly instantly! Just keep dropping it, it seemsa w aste but you level so much faster!

A side note is what picks should you use? Considering mining is something that can make you rich I would suggest using the bronze pick until level 21 then go to varrock and use the grand exhange to sell some iron and buy a mith pickaxe, do the same at level 31 and finally level 41 iron and steel are a waste of time really. Remember this guide works with or without a bot with minor changes!
