How To Find Your Lost Cellphone

Someday, you're going to lose your Droid X.  It might be for a panic-filled few seconds, or it might be forever.  I have this software solution!

Various cellphone locator services are available, specifically for phones (such as Droid X) that feature GPS and communicate with satellites.  Multiple apps are also available at the Android Market that can help you locate and, you hope, recover a wondering phone.

I've tried a few of the programs and can't recommend any of them over the others.  Some you can try are:

1. LocService
2. Mobile Defense
3. Mobile Phone Locator Lite
4. Phoning Pigeon

Most of these services require that you set up a Web page account to assist in locating your phone.  They also enable services that send updates to the Internet.  The updates assist in tracking your phone, in case it becomes lost or stolen.
