The Metro Manila Skyway or MMSW is the country’s longest bridge. This bridge is an elevated highway in Metro Manila crossing over much of the existing South Luzon Expressway. This highway bridge is 10 km long and 17 km longincluding Bicutan-Alabang section.
The Candaba Viaduct that passes over the Candaba Swamps in the North Luzon Expressway is considered as the 2nd longest bridge in the Philippines with a total length of 5Â kilometers. The bridge consists of four lanes, 2 each for southbound and northbound.

One of the most significant architectural triumphs in the Philippines is the construction of the spectacular San Juanico Bridge. The bridge that spans the San Juanico Strait connects the islands of Samar and Leyte. Regarded as the longest bridge in the country until the completion of Candaba Viaduct, San Juanico Bridge has a total length of 2.16 kilometers. It is still the longest bridge in the Philippines that spans a body of seawater.
Construction of the bridge began in 1969 and was completed in 1973. This structure with 43 spans is considered one of the most beautifully-designed bridges in Philippines.

Asingan – Sta Maria Bridge is a 1.4 km long bridge that connects the towns of Asingan and Sta. Maria in the province of Pangasinan. This infrastructure is one of the most important projects of the Ramos regime. The bridge is the fourth longest bridge in the country.

The 5th longest bridge in the Philippines is the Patapat Viaduct in the town of Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. The bridge that offers astoundingly breathtaking beauty of the Pacific Ocean and Cordillera Mountain Range is elevated 31 meters above sea level. This concrete coastal bridge that connects the Maharlika Highway from Laoag, Ilocos Norte to the Cagayan Valley Region is 1.3Â kilometers in length.

The 6th longest bridge in the Philippines is the beautiful Marcelo Fernan Bridge. This cable-stayed bridge is located in Metro Cebu, Cebu. This architectural masterpiecespans across Mactan Channel connecting the islands of Mactan and Cebu. Marcelo Fernan Bridge, with a length of 1.23 kilometers with a center span of 185 meters, opened in August 1999. This bridge is not only one of the longest in the country but also one of the widest.

The 7th longest bridge in the country is the Mactan-Mandaue Bridge. The bridgespans across the Mactan Channel and connects Cebu Island and Mactan Island. The construction of this 846 meter long bridge began in 1970 and was completed in 1972. This bridge is popularly called The First Mactan-Mandaue Bridge.
NaguillianBridge in the town of Naguilian is the longest bridge in the province of Isabela, the second largest province in the Philippines next to Palawan. The bridge, which is one of the longest in the country, spans across the mighty Cagayan River that traverse the provinces of Nueva Vizcaya, Isabela and Cagayan.
