The real reason diets work
Have you ever sat there and really wondered why there are so many different diets and which one would work for you, and whats the difference between them all. Not only that but which ones actually work?Well if you read on you will find out just the answers that you've been looking for.
Now if you had to make a definition of diet what would it be? Would you say a diet is something that makes you lose weight?, or would you say a diet makes you feel better and healthier?, or what would it be?
There are so many companies out there from slim fast, weight watchers, atkins, and south beach just to name a few, that are common diets for people to be on. These companies have for the most part overtaken people and their minds. These days people worry about what they look like more then how they actually feel inside. When these companies throw all of thier ads out saying "we can make you thin", or on commercials they only show these super models and say you can look like this if you go on this diet. The truth is that a "diet" is not a diet at all . What all these programs have in common is that you just need to eat healthy.
The majority of Americans have portions that are to big, or they go threw fast food for lunch or dinner just because its cheap, quick and easy. Thats what is causing people to get out of shap and then the "diet" programs come along looking like a hero saying here try this. And they don't just point out the real fact that we have got to stop eating the way we are. Back 80-90years ago were people overweight and out of shape like they are now? NO! and you know why? because there were not fast food resturants every corner you went around.
The times have changed for the better, but the eating had changed for the worse. To answer a final question or why some programs work and some don't. Its all because of the portions that they offer. Then for those people that no diet works for. Thats becase you all ready eat the right way you don't need a multi million dollar bussiness to tell you that. If you eat the right way and are still over weight that chances are you need to exercise more then you currently do.
Overall its easier to say then do, but people just need to eat foods in moderation, and eat the right servings, and exercise. Don't go and waste you're money on programs to tell you what you need to do, let you're body and let you tell you. Only you know how much exercise you can do, only you know the foods you should be putting in you're body. And if its difficult doing it alone, have you're spouse or a college or a friend do it with you. Then when you watch yourself get into better shape, you will feel better and healthier. Then you will be able to take care of yourself.
