Shock - My Boyfriend Has a Profile on a Dating Site! (Or How a Cheater Got Cheated On)

For many people online dating is a huge privacy concern. While it is certainly not pleasant and it could be even dangerous when the whole world knows a lot about you and your personal life, there are cases when online dating can really hurt. Here is what happened to a friend of mine some time ago.

She registered with a popular dating site with the idea to find an upgrade for her current partner. I am not sure if she uploaded pictures of her or not but she certainly browsed a bit to see if there is somebody suitable there. I don't know if she browsed hundreds of profiles or not but you can imagine her surprise, when she accidentally stumbled upon the profile of her boyfriend!

He had also registered with the same site and since photos are important in online dating, he had even uploaded some pics of himself – no, not racy pics, showing how hunky he is but still pics, which clearly showed that this is him. Additionally, the other data he had entered, helped to identify him without leaving any space for doubts that it might not be him. How funny, ah?

If you wonder what happened next, here it is. At first she was really pissed at him – how could he dare cheat on her? But on the other hand, since she was also an would-be cheater, she didn't say a word to him. I don't think she forgave him but since she was also red-handed (though not exactly caught cheating), I bet she will just forget about the whole stuff and pretend nothing has happened.

And, no, they didn't separate - they are still together – not because they are madly in love with each other (in fact, their relationship is already dead) but because none of them can find an upgrade and because of this sticks to the present partner. Ridiculous, right? You see, online dating sites can be a lot of fun!
