Fast and Easy Orange Julius
A recipe on how to make a fast and easy orange julius.
What you will need:
Equipment:
Blender
Measuring cups
Measuring Spoons
Ingredients:
1 12 Fl Oz (Fluid Ounce) can of frozen orange juice concentrate
1 cup of whole milk
1 cup of cold water
1 teaspoon or vanilla extract (Regular vanilla extract and imitation vanilla extract will both work)
1/4 cup of granulated sugar
8-10 ice cubes (You can add more if you want a thicker drink)
Directions:
1) Put the orange juice concentrate, milk, water, vanilla extract, and sugar in a blender.
2) Blend until thoroughly mixed.
3) Add the ice and blend until all the ice is chopped up into very small pieces.
3) Serve and enjoy!
The amout of orange julius that this recipe will make will be enough for around two or three people but it depends of the size of the container that you put the orange julius in.
Tips and Tricks:
1) Use cold ingredients so that the orange julius will stay cold for a longer amount of time.
2) If you want to try something different use a different frozen juice concentrate (I've used pineapple, mixed berry, and lemon juice concentrate).
3) You can pour the orange julius in popsicle molds and freeze them to make great tasting popsicles.
4) Wet the edges of a cocktail glass and dip it in granulated then pour some of the orange julius inside and garnish the cocktail glass with a wedge of orange to make a great tasting and a great looking drink.
5) Put food coloring in the orange julius in step 1 to make the orange julius look like something else. This isn't a very useful tip but it's kind of funny trick.
