Mexican legendary boxer Marco Antonio Barrera was no match to the 22-year old Amir Khan as the young British boxer scored a fifth round TKO in a bloody fight held at the MEN arena in Manchester, England.
Amir Khan rattled Barrera as he dominated the early part of the first round before an accidental head butt occurred late in the round that saw Barrera’s face oozing with blood.
The clash of heads hindered Barrera’s ability to find his target as blood continued flowing down to his face. This gave Khan the opportunity to deliver his punches on target almost at will starting on the second round.

The fifth round started with Khan throwing punches at will prompting the referee to call again the ring physician and this time he signal the referee to discontinue the fight due to injury.
After five rounds, Khan led in all score cards prompting the referee to declare him winner by TKO
