Here are afew quick and easy Irish drinks that are sure to liven up any St. Patty's Day party. Enjoy!!!

After writing an article that included four different Irish martinis, I thought I would help out those who wanted to party on St. Patrick's Day but were not quite as skilled in the bartending realm! These are all fairly classic drink recipes. I put my own names on these cocktail and these are the measurements I would use if I were preparing them at home. To get the measurements right, try using a jigger. The large side is usually 1 1/2 Oz. and the small side is usually 1 Oz. or 3/4 Oz. Enjoy these responsibly and have a great time on St. Pat's!

Emerald Kiss on the Rocks:

Ingredients:

1 1/2 Oz. Amaretto Liqueur
1 1/2 Oz. Bailey's Irish Cream

Mix these liquors in equal portions over ice in rocks glasses.

A Peachy Irish Cocktail:

2 Oz. Jamesons Irish Whiskey
1/2 Oz. Peach Schnapps Liqueur
2 Oz. Orange Juice
Splash with sprite or gingerale

Mix this drink over ice in a tall highball glass in the order given above.

Kiss Me Kate:

2 1/2 Oz. Irish Mist Liqueur
1/2 Oz. Tequila Rose Liqueur
Mint for garnish

Mix in order over ice in rocks glasses and garnish with mint sprigs because they are green!

Traditional Irish Coffee:

This is a classic hot cocktail. Here is a quick reminder on how to make it!

Ingredients:

2 Oz. Jameson's Irish Whiskey
6 Oz. hot coffee
Homemade or canned whipped cream
Green Creme de Menthe

Pour the whiskey into the bottom of a heated coffee mug or footed mug. Top with coffee and whipped cream. Float about 1/4 ounce green creme de menthe on top and serve with a stirrer. For this recipe, try to make your own homemade whipped cream!
