This mask is awesome, no fogging issues, and a perfect fit. Great for divers and snorkelers

Tilos EXCEL Frameless Mask

I know what some of you are thinking; what the heck is a frameless mask?

For those of you who have never heard of such a concept when it comes to dive/swim/snorkel masks; a frameless mask is basically a mask that does not include one of those clunky large plastic frames that surround the viewing panel.

I personally have always found masks with frames to be uncomfortable. They feel unnatural on the face, and they actually give me a headache after awhile.

Tilos EXCEL Frameless Scuba Mask has no plastic frame on it, so it sits comfortably on your face.

The viewing pane itself is oddly shaped, but it is also precisely shaped to give you the absolute best viewing possible. With this mask I can see all around me, and it gives me about 90% more surrounding views than any other mask I have ever used.

It has a very high brow, and a very low bottom so viewing is nearly 100% unobstructed.

It is designed to be comfortable. It stays in place on your face without feeling heavy, odd, or unnatural. For me the Tilos EXCEL Frameless Scuba Diving Mask is on, I don't really feel it. The strap is also very, very easy to adjust. It has to plastic high quality clips that you simply clip up to adjust the frame, and clip back down to keep the strap where it is positioned. It is high quality and will not flip up or loosen while swimming.

Now the Tilos EXCEL Frameless Scuba Mask did have one minor issue when I first used it. It actually fogged up quite a bit, but as anyone knows all new masks fog, even those with the no fog promise attached to them.

I easily fixed this issue by doing a good scrubbing on the mask with some toothpaste, and some baby shampoo.

It worked like a charm, and fogging became a thing of the past instantly.

I bought the Tilos Mask because I was told that when  you go on vacations to tropical beaches, resorts and hotels don't always provide snorkel gear for free. Some even charge a ridiculous hourly charge.

I went to the Bahamas, and am glad I bought the Tilos EXCEL Frameless Scuba Mask, because the resort in fact did charge a fee for rentals on their masks, and snorkels, so bring your own!!!!

The mask was heaven, and my view was spectacular.

I picked the Tilos up at Amazon for $39.99 at the time. I highly recommend this one to those looking to go on vacation where a lot of snorkeling will occur, or for full time divers, and those who like to dive or snorkel in general.

-Tip-

Make sure you always rinse your Tilos EXCEL Frameless Scuba Mask with baby soap and water, and rinse well. Salt can erode the delicate material.
