Here is a 3 steps fantasy drawing tutorial on how to draw a dragon.

In this fantasy drawing tutorial you will learn how to draw a dragon in 3 steps. Keep in mind that this tutorial is not done to be copied exactly but to help you find your own way of drawing things. So take your paper and pencils, i wish you all a good drawing practice a lot of fun!

Step 1:  First, take a paper sheet and a pencil, then draw a quick pale sketch of all the general dragon forms, circles and differente shapes. This will  be the frame you will use as a guidelines for the rest of your drawing. Keep in mind that you should do a quick rough sketch of forms like that to start any kind of drawing themes you do. The important thing to do in this first step is to grasp the proportions, pose and mouvement of your dragon.

Step 2: Then, you begin to draw the dragon head, body, and anatomy on top of the forms and shapes you've drawn on your sketch in step one. Don't go to much into details. Try to obtain the general traits and lines.

Step 3: Finish your dragon. It's the time to go into details. Chose the right lines and forms you want to keep. Try to personalyse your own drawing. Put ink on it, and erase the pencil sketch you've used as guidelines. So here it is you sould have your dragon ready to burn and eat the next knight comming to save the pretty princess.

Notes: Some artists do step one and two with a non-photo blue pencil. Others use hard mines beetween h and 8h.

I sincerly hope that tutorial have helped you! If you want to see more drawing tutorials on fantasy themes you can visit my blog, howtodrawfantasy.com.

Hm...It's good but not the type I am looking for. Thanks! I'll just try to improve some parts of the drawing though.
