A step by step guide on how to download PSP games from the Internet.

Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) has been one of the greatest gadget so far which is not only appealing to me, it is also becoming more like a necessity to many people on the move. Sony PSP has the ability to transfer and receive information with PC or laptop via USB port. The utilization of memory card makes it possible for the game software to be loaded. So downloading of PSP games have becoming a repent thing currently.

However, I understand that the newer version of PSP that are released on the market now is unable to read games software which means playing downloaded PSP games is no longer possible. This move had made the previous versions of PSP a more valuable commodity.

Many people are still asking everywhere on the Internet on how they can download and play these PSP games on their hand-held console. I would like to clarify that this article is written to educate and serves as an information for people to know how to go about doing it. This should not be abused as you should buy the original games as this involves infringement of intellectual property rights.

Step 1: To know where to download

Of course to start, you need to really know where to download PSP games. One of the website is Torrent Portal. It is quite a comprehensive website that offers you not only PSP games, but also games for PC and other consoles.

Step 2: Download with Bit Torrent or Direct Download

Some websites offer you direct download. But usually the links by the time you found them, they could be already dead. So that makes Bit Torrent a very powerful tool in this respect. In order to download the games through Bit Torrent, you must have a Bit Torrent client. In my opinion, the best client is Bit Comet.

Step 3: Connect your PSP to your desktop of laptop

So the game is already in your system. Now all you need to do is to load it into your PSP. So access your PSP and switch to USB transfer mode and the file can be pasted into the file of your PSP by using your desktop or laptop. Before you should be aware that sometimes the game which you had downloaded could be in compressed mode. You should open the file with either Winzip or Winrar. Both are able to do the job. After opening it, sometimes you are required to execute the master file to consolidate all the files together. Remember the file that can be played on PSP should have the extension of .CSO or .NTI.
