Oprah Winfrey is a success and a role model for the world. She grew up as a child suffering from poverty and abuse repeatedly at her mother's "wild party house." At a young age her father was in the service and left her with her grandmother. She was actively involved in church with the grandmother. Things took a bad turn when she was send to her mother's house. She was not having a life that a child should have there. It was a "wild party house" as she recalled it.

She was abused by the men there repeatedly. She was impregnated by a one of the abusers at the age of 14 but it became a miscarriage. The mother sends her back home to her father. She lived a better life with her father as he ground her to be at the highest moral standard. She was in school and doing well. She was a natural talent when it came to public speaking and she hosted radio show while growing up. She won a scholarship to a university and so she left for school. She later follows up her career in film and her show "The Oprah Winfrey Show" was a major success.

The rating for that show remains the highest for 16 years. She owned Harper's film and she also open Oxygen network. She owned Oprah's book club because she loves to read since childhood and it was reading that gave her an escape from her problems. Books that were recommended by her became the number one hit on Oprah. Oprah is now even moving on a bigger deal on HBO. She has this appeal that pulls in all the viewers. People loved her show and it was important for them not to miss her show. She is a philanthropist who have build home for the homeless and gave money for poor children. She encourages people to live a good life and help improves other people's life.
