World's Easiest Cake To Make - Excellent

There are many recipes for cakes these days, but mine is the most simple of them all. I would put this cake recipe up against anyone's and feel I have a good chance of winning. Today I share that with you. Read more . . . .

The first surprise is how easy this recipe is and the second surprise is how good it is! You'll make this more than once.

1 bakery orange-chiffon cake

1 (15 oz.) can of crushed pineapple with juice

1 (3.4 oz.) package of vanilla instant pudding

1 (8 oz.) carton of frozen whipped topping, thawed

1/2 cup of slivered almonds, toasted

Slice the cake horizontally to make 3 layers.

Mix pineapple, pudding, and whipped topping in a bowl and blend this well.

Spread on each layer and cover top of the cake.

Sprinkle almonds on top and refrigerate.

You and your family will simply love this cake. Also I wanted to let you know that you can make low-cost whipped topping by whipping equal parts of instant dry milk with cold water. Add some lemon juice when it reaches the soft peak stage; it will add stability and extra flavor.
