U2 Secret Show

For some time now the band from Ireland, U2 has been talking about having a secret show. Not letting any information out to the public about where the concert would be held, but this morning was different.

Yes, finally it was announced that the secret show U2  was buzzing about has been confirmed. The location has been announced and the lucky town is Somerville Massachusettes and will take place tonight,  Wednesday March 11, 2009.

The Somerville Theater which holds only 900 people will be presenting the U2 concert this evening to promote their new album. There are no tickets on sale for this show. All tickets have been given out  leaving nothing left for the rest of the fans. Many die hard fans will still be visiting Somerville this evening in hopes to get a glimpse of the band. The Joshua Tree which is a bar in Somerville and is named after one of Us'2 albums expects to be packed. The city has already implemented parking bans on the streets for tonight.

The bands equipment arrived last night in numerous trailer trucks and has been unloading ever since. Setting up and getting ready for tonights proformance. There have already been a few fans snapping pictures of the unloading of the vehicles. Buzz, buzz, ya Somersville is having an unnusual day today.

For those fans that was not invited to this special presentation U2 will be having another concert September 20th at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro Massachusettes but be prepared to shell out a small fortune for the experience. Tickets start at $238. up to $1414. for the floor seating. I am sure the concert will sell out, although I do not belive for the price of tickets I will be attending.

For the folks attending tonights event, have a blast and enjoy the show and for the rest of us not invited, I guess we will just have to wait for September 20th.
