Health: First aid for a blister and allergic reaction. First aid can be really helpful when you have a minor problems at home.
First aid can be really helpful when you have a minor problems at home. You can prevent widespread of certain infections if you can treat it immediately at home. For example, you can flush your eyes out with cool or warm water so that the chemical or debris don’t spread more around your eyes.
First Aid for Blister
- Your blisters could be caused by friction and new shoes
- You can choose better shoes next time that won’t cause you blisters
- Try on shoes with the same socks that you will use later
- Try on shoes at midday because that’s when your feet will be done swelling
- To begin treating blister , you will need to sterilize a needle with alcohol or iodine and then poke the edge of the blister
- Let the fluid drain and then leave the skin layer like the way it is
- Apply antibiotic
- Apply a bandage to prevent bacteria and infections from coming in
- Next time wear better shoes and more comfortable shoes
First aid for allergic reaction or anaphylaxis
- Allergic reaction happens when you’re allergic to a certain medication or foods or fumes or chemicals you apply to your face or smell
- This is very common
- Most people have some sort of allergy to certain things
- Some people has allergic reaction to sunscreeen, shrimps, makeup, latex, the list is endless
- You would look for medical bracelets if they have to indicate what they’re allergic to
- You can carry medications to treat your allergy such as benadryl or epinephrine pen prescribes by your doctor
- These medications can save your life and you need to carry it if you’re allergic to a lot of things
- Signs of allergic reactions are when a person has difficulty breathing, losing orientation, shock, circulatory problems
- You can look for medication in their purse if they carry it and give it to them
- You can call for the paramedic
- You can next have the person lie down on their back with their legs higher than their heads so that they get more blood flow to the head to prevent fainting
- You don’t have to give them drinks
- Loosen tight clothing so that they have better circulation and breathing rooms and cover them with a blanket
- If the person is vomitting or bleeding you can turn them on the side to prevent choking or aspiration
