Guillard vs Dunham Fight For The Troops 2 Video Hype

Jan 2nd, 2011 by tsl99

Lightweight standouts Melvin Guillard and Evan Dunham is set to fight as the main event of UFC Fight for the Troops 2 on January 22nd. Melvin Guillard has pulled out of his fight with UFC veteran Yves Edwards to step up and face Dunham in the main event as replacement to Kenny Florian who is sidelined by a knee injury.

Have you watched the Guillard vs Dunham Fight Video preview? The Guillard/Dunham bout is surely interesting and relevant to who will be next in line for title contention. A lot is riding on this fight for Dunham since Guillard is a bit of a step down compared to his recent fight against Sean Sherk and his supposed fight against Kenny Florian. This fight thou might favor Guillard because of his strong striking and Dunham was outstruck by Efrain Escudero in the early going of their fight in January 2009. On the ground however, the advantage will be with Evan Dunham. It will be interesting what kind of gameplan Jackson's camp will come up to deal with Dunham. Guillard (25-8-2) edged Jeremy Stephens at UFC 119 for his third-straight win and sixth in his last seven fights, while Dunham (11-1) dropped a controversial decision to Sean Sherk at the September event after four-straight UFC wins.
