Being a girlfriend or a wife a military man is different from the usual relationship. Here's a real points from a military girlfriend.

They said that the best wives in the world are military wives because they are like part of military as well. They devote their lives understanding and supporting their husbands who are defending the nation.
Do you know that the way a military man is also reflects the way he is being taken cared of by his girl?

It’s tough to be a military girlfriend. My boyfriend is in the army; he cannot decide for his own wants, everything depends on his orders. You cannot just decide about what you want, you have to consider consulting his boss first before proceeding with your plans and they can always change.

There were years he was deployed and worst was when he was in Iraq he was injured during the war.

Being girlfriend, it’s terrifying because I feel the fear that I could lose him like other military casualties in year 2003.

Military wives and girlfriends waited with a lot of worries and fears of losing our love ones who are defending the country.

As a military girlfriend it’s important not to trust him and support him especially those military men have to undergo a lot of physical stresses with a slow pay increase with no over time fees.
I’m not saying that their salaries are bad; in fact benefits are stable not only for the soldier but for the immediate family included. Hospitals are free; insurance would be a problem, education for the kids, cheap groceries and basic needs.

Though it is always good to see your boyfriend being around always, it's duty first and you have to understand that. But you always know that his heart is only beating for you and when you hold each other, it’s like a day with no end.

Things will get better in 20 years because that’s the retiring years of service.
