A couple of years ago I had an opportunity to visit the famous Niagara Falls. I was amazed by its gradure and beauty. The Falls have a large history behind them and with a visit you can find out all you want to know about it all.

There is not a best time of the year to visit, because there always seems to be people there. The four seasons brings with them magnitudes of people from around the world.

I visited in the early spring and although it was not too crowded there were still a lot of people there. We arrived at aroun midnight and the falls was packed with folks looking at the colored lights lit from the Canadian side of the falls.

A must to do is take the Maid of the Mist tour under the falls. Yes you will get wet, but you will also feel the power of all the water coming off the falls. This boat ride goes into Horse Shoe Falls which are the Canadian Falls. You are in a half circle actually almost underneath them. It is kind of scary, but you are in a state of aww.

There are many places to stay near the falls and prices range from moderate to very expensive. This also goes for food there. They have all sots of restaurants and ethnic foods availible.

There is also a casino not far from the falls and tons of shopping in the area. Be sure if you are traveling to the Canidian side you bring your passport and or visa to enter Canada.

We spent two days here and then moved on throughout New York State. Enjoy your trip!
