Homemade Tomato Soup in 20 Minutes or Less

Me and my family love homemade food, and when you try this recipe you will also.  Sure you could run to the store and buy tomato soup, but it will never taste like this.  Read more . . . . .

3 (15 oz.) cans of whole tomatoes with liquid
1 (14 oz.) can of chicken broth
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 tablespoon of minced garlic
3/4 cups of whipping cream

With a blender, puree the tomatoes (in batches) and pour into large saucepan.
Add the chicken broth, sugar, garlic, and a little salt and bring this to a boil.
Reduce the heat and stir in the whipping cream
Cook, stirring constantly, for 2 to 3 minutes or until the soup is hot.  Do not boil.

This is a very easy, and inexpensive way to make your own homemade tomato soup.  If you want to make a lot at one time just double the recipe, and you can store the rest for later use.  Either way you will enjoy this soup.   It takes 20 minutes or less to make it, and I've always been told from a boy until now that tomato soup is very good for you heathwise.
