Lemon Pepper Pork Chops - Easy Recipe

Pork chops seem to be the meal everyone loves. This recipe is simple to make. Very few ingredients, but a great tasting treat. Read more . . . .

4 butterfly pork chops

3/4 teaspoon of garlic salt

3/4 teaspoon of lemmon pepper

vegetable oil

1/2 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts

3 tablespoons of lemon juice

1 (9 oz.) package of microwave-ready rice, cooked

Sprinkle both sides of pork chops with garlic salt and lemon pepper.

In a large skillet, heat a little oil over medium-high heat.

Add the chops and cook for about 5 minutes on each side until chops brown lightly.

Reduce your heat, and add several tablespoons of water. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes.

Transfer the pork chops to a serving plate and keep warm. Top with pecans or walnuts.

Stir lemon juice into pan drippings, heat and stir constantly until they are well blended.

Spoon the drippings on the pork chops and serve over rice.

This is one of our favorite meals. My husband could eat these every meal, but once or twice a week is fine.
