Now is the time to start thinking about temporary tattoos. Shelly Henna Paste is a great option.

Every late spring and early summer, we set up a booth at the local flea market to do temporary henna tattoos. After several years of making my own henna paste for our seasonal business, I discovered Shelly Henna Paste from eBay. Wow! It really leaves some very nice temporary tattoos for me, my family members and our customers. I wouldn't trust any other henna paste on our seasonal flea market clients than the Shelly Henna Paste.

Pricing of the Shelly Henna Paste

The pricing of the Shelly Henna Paste varies greatly when I find it on the Internet. I have also found it one of the local Asian food market stores. I don't mind the price. It's very reasonable. One tube weighs 30 g and will give me around 20 medium or 10 large temporary tattoos.

Ease of Use of the Shelly Henna Paste

I just put one of the plastic applicator tips on the tube of Shelly Henna Paste. I leave it setting in a mug of warm water between uses or between clients. When it's time to use, the Shelly Henna Paste comes out very smooth. I hardly ever have it shoot out any irritating clumps. If you squeeze the tube from the bottom, you don't run into air pockets either. Believe clumps and air pockets can completely ruin a design and make you start over. I don't have this problem with the Shelly Henna Paste.

Shelly Henna Paste Leaves Dark Temporary Tattoos

The other thing that I really like about the Shelly Henna Paste is that it does indeed leave very dark tattoos. Now, it is ideally made for hands and feed for the Mehendi tradition. However, I've used it on lower backs, all parts of the arms, back of necks and ankles.

I seal the Shelly Henna Paste after applying with a lemon juice and sugar mixture. I then put a small covering over the area to keep the design from smearing. The Shelly Henna Paste coats well and hardens on the outside but remains moist next to the skin. This means that the final result is very dark henna tattoos when you use the Shelly Henna Paste. It takes longer for these to wear off with regular wear and regular washings.

Skin Irritability with Shelly Henna Paste

I like to personally test each batch of henna paste that I make. With the Shelly Henna Paste, I tested it first before ever thinking of using it on my flea market clients. I never had a reaction to the Shelly Henna Paste. I've never had any clients come back and complain about a reaction to the Shelly Henna Paste either. This is excellent. I only use the natural Shelly Henna Paste and nothing with black ink or dye in it.
