1. Practice Good Skin Hygiene - Clean your skin every day. It is advisable to wash your face at least twice a day. Washing your skin over and over again will create more trouble than help you. Wash areas with a gentle cleanser and use oil-free, water-based skin care products. Avoid Over cleaning or scrubbing your skin, and harsh cleansers. Avoid Touching the Face Frequently. While going to bed make sure to remove your makeup. Don't pick pimples on your face or body. It can permanently scar your skin. Wear loose fitting clothing.Tight fitting clothing traps heat and moisture and can irritate your skin.
2. Reduce Stress try to avoid stressful situations.
3. Regular exercise is important to reduce stress, balance hormones and increase the circulation of blood and oxygen to the skin.
4. Drink plenty of water. Water helps in cleaning and hydrating the skin and maintaining overall health.
5.Though diet is not the cause of acne, it contributes to the state of acne. Your diet should include essential vitamins and minerals to assist the body in regulating the balance of oil and other acne producing components. If you eat a high-fiber, low-fat diet you are less likely to have problems with acne.
