The Wonders of a Child

For all of us who have children this is the most wonderful experience and most challenging time of our lives. They really are so precious!

Every child has a meaning that makes the world go round,
Regardless of how they look their significance is quite sound.
Passing on our messages of life, the supremacy of today,
forming the future of tomorrow, they will endeavour to lead our way.

In the eyes of a child, the thoughts and fantasy begins,
to watch a child in action, they will teach you many things.
They are the vision of today with amazing dreaming minds,
but expect many questions, often asked at inconvenient times.

The enjoyment of being a child with innocence of mind,
the tantrums of independence you will often find.
The wisest of us all know the complexity of answering their questions,
but it is them that teach us, more that often can be mentioned.

The inquisitive mind of a child will exhaust you at their best,
modelling our behaviour, their innocence their greatest test.
Children are our future, often showing our own errors,
very unpredictable, and their unique individual treasures.

You watch them play, run and skip, busy in their world,
cyclonic in their nature able to obliterate a clean household.
When children are around there tends to be a sense of fun,
able to steal a kiss leaving pleasure deep inside, especially for a mum.

There is no greater marvel than a child that is yours,
the innocence of their face will give you pleasure and so much more.
Talented in their ability to deploy the subject of bed,
enable to concoct any conversation, avoiding what was said.

The messages within will continue to be passed upon,
but unfortunately we will not see the finale of this song.
By the time we will have made our greatest utmost mark,
we will have long left the world, just a memory from the dark.

There is no greatest wonder than in the eyes of a child,
although exhausting in their nature, you will melt with their smile.
Their innocence is wonderful, no worries of life as such,
Sadness while you watch them as in a flash, they have grown up.
