Stocking Stuffer Ideas

Dec 1st, 2010 by fen527

Have you already bought the big presents but are stumped by what to put in the stockings? Finding cheap stocking stuffers is easier than you think with these tips:

Look for anything small, creative, inexpensive, or practical for stocking stuffers, such as chapstick, jewelry, cologne or perfume, socks, makeup, books, ornaments, holiday items and treats, movies, school and office supplies, golf balls, tickets to an event or place, bath and body products, key chains, small kitchen gadgets, craft items, etc. The following are some specific places to look for these items.

Go to the dollar store, where you can find lots of toys, scrapbooking supplies, candles, Christmas decorations, food, and practical items to use as stocking stuffers. Check out party stores for party favors and candy as low as 10 cents. Also, Michael's and Target carry cheap stocking stuffers for children, such as stickers, pencils, erasers, notebooks, toys, candy, games, coloring books, crafts, and plastic jewelry. Search through clearance items and sales racks for cheap gifts. Browse the snacks, candy, nuts, drinks, and produce aisles at the grocery store for yummy treats to stuff in Christmas stockings. The ideas are endless! Just keep in mind the person's likes and interests to make them meaningful and appreciated.

If all else fails, consider stuffing the stockings with gift cards to a favorite store or restaurant, with prepaid gift cards, or with money.
