Christmas is here and it's the time to throw your own party. There's nothing more fun than throwing your own party because you can have more freedom and flexibility. You can go to someone else's party but you won't have as much fun as your own. You won't get to decorate it the way you want to and have the food the way you want to. When you have your own party you can use that time to acheive some company purpose like introducing the different departments and getting to know each other more because you work with many people and you want to know all of them so that you can communicate better. You can use this opportunity to inform your company of a few new topic.

Company or office party is a good idea because you can get to know other people from other department and make more friends and build better work relationships. This could be a good idea and sometimes it's a bad idea too. Partying with other professionals may not be a good idea. People may see you drunk and dancing and they won't take you seriously after that. Work is work and there are things that other professionals don't need to say. If you're going to have one just be sure to be on your good behavior and don't dress to skimpy or drink too much because other people will think that you're incompetent.

If you own a company you can initiate a company party. You can send invitations to everyone and have them sign up to join the party. You can ask people to bring in their own dishes and drink so that you don't have to put all of the money out. You can have the party at your house or at the office room. You can ask people to pitch in $5 each so you can throw the party. A party can bring people together but also will create some problems too. Some employees don't like company party. Work and politics is a factor that make people not want to involve in company party. Not everyone at work loves each other.

You can also have your party at restaurants or entertainment places that already have everything set up and you just need to meet up with people there. You can just order and don't have to buy your own foods. You can try Dave and Buster, Sushi restaurant, Cheesecake factory, or any restaurants that most of your employees preferred. If you have a great company with many people, this is a good time for professionals to collaborate. Although office party are fun you should be professional because you'll still see your co-workers afterward and you want to appear competence still. Things that you should avoid including over drinking, dressing way too revealing or just pass out drunk, you should be aware that people will also be watching you even if you're partying. Companies are always looking at you.
