California: The best city to live in the US

California is one of the best states to live in with great weather like Hawaii and tons of parties to go to but it can be expensive. I have lived there for 20 something years and I can tell you that the one thing about it is the crime rate. The crime rate in California is on the bad side of living in there. There are many features that make it the best cities to live in however there will be some factors like crime and police treatment that lower its value but this is unavoidable in any crowded state. Without crimes and things involving crimes, I can say that California or the city of Huntington Beach is one of the best cities to live in the US.

Some of the best industries are located in California like Hollywood, Silicon Valley, imports goods and manufacturing industries. It's not that difficult to find a job in California if you look hard however, your living cost is so high that you work very long hours just to pay all of your bills. You would then think if it's worth the price. It's one of the most expensive states in the US. With this expensive thing going on, many people are moving away to other areas like Nevada or Sacramento that is up North of CA to save money.

You get Hawaii weather but you also have to pay Hawaii price too. Things are expensive in California and people are competitive too. One great thing about California is that the Universities are worth mentioning. You can get a great education at some of the most prestigious institution in the US. People in California are goal oriented and hard working. I think that people do pay too much in California and it's a question of worthiness to live there.

The crime rate is so high in some areas that you have to watch out all the time. You have to be cautious all the time as people are always trying to rob you. This is not the same in some quiet states. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend it if you're trying to save money or stay away from crimes.

You're really going to be bothered by the police there all the time too, even if you're just sitting in your car outside of your house. It's strange but that's what they do you know. They think almost everyone in California is a potential criminal. They can really get your day going. Oh yes! I have had many of this time with them. One time I was just cleaning out my car and then they walk over and ask for my IDs. I wonder why. I guess I just lived in the wrong neighborhood. Real Estate in California as we all know is too expensive.

The average house in California cost $600k -several millions. The lowest price goes to the house in a bad neighborhood or somewhere near the jungle side. Therefore, if you're trying to save money, California is probably not the place to be if you want to save money. Besides the down part you will get some great opportunity to work for much well known company. One good industry is Hollywood and another one is manufacturing companies. You'll get a chance to surf and go to many parties as it's one of those states that people love to go out. However, despite crimes and high cost, California is a great place to live with beautiful beaches and if you can afford it then it's one of the best states to live in.
