Bizarre and Unique but Beautiful Monkeys
The most unique and bizarre but beautiful monkeys ever exist.

Callithrix Jacchus are monkey species which are common marmosets. They are small-bodied with various colors; brown, gray, yellow with a white mark on their forehead. Unlike some other monkeys, they have claw-like nail which enable them to crawl like squirrels. They cling vertically to trees, run quadruped ally across branches, and move between trees by leaping. Common marmosets are endemic to Brazil. They range in the northeastern and central forests from the Atlantic coast and inland as far west as the Rio Grande and are found in the states of Alagoas, Pernambuco, Paríba, Rio Grande do Norte, Ceará, and Piauí. The other important food source for common marmosets is insect prey. Because of their small body size, marmosets are able to utilize insects to fulfill their protein and fat requirements, unlike larger-bodied primates. And the fact that they have small body marmosets is vulnerable to predation by mammals and birds.

The proboscis monkey gets its name from its large, protruding and fleshy nose, and they are endemic on the island of Borneo in Southeast Asia. The proboscis monkeys live almost exclusively in mangrove forests of Borneo, but can also be found in lowland rainforests and cannot be found anywhere else in the world other than Borneo except in zoo captivity. The nose is a noticeable feature even on infants.

The squirrel monkeys are the only genus in the subfamily Saimirinae. Squirrel monkeys live in the tropical forests of Central and South America on the canopy layer. Squirrel monkey furs are short and close colored olive at the shoulders and yellowish orange on its back and extremities. Their throat and the ears are white and their mouths are black. The upper part of their head is hairy. Squirrel monkeys grow to 25 to 35 cm, plus a 35 to 42 cm tail. They weigh 750 to 1100g. Remarkably, the brain mass to body mass ratio for squirrel monkeys is 1:17, which gives them the largest brain, proportionately, of all the primates. Humans have a 1:35 ratio. Female squirrel monkeys have a pseudo-penis that they use to display dominance over smaller monkeys, much like the way the male squirrel monkeys display their dominance.

The tamarins are any of the squirrel-sized New World Monkeys from the family Cebidae, classified as the genus Saguinus. Tamarins are inhabitants of tropical rain forests and open forest areas .Tamarin habitats range from southern Central America (Costa Rica) through middle South America (Amazon basin and north Bolivia, however not in the mountainous parts). The various species of tamarins differ considerably according to their appearance, ranging from nearly all black through mixtures of black, brown and white. Many species typically have mustache-like facial hairs. Their body size ranges from 18 to 30 cm (plus a 25 to 44 cm long tail) and they weight from 220 to 900 grams. Tamarins differ from marmosets primarily in the fact that the lower canine teeth are clearly longer than the incisors. The father generally taking care for the young.

That is a gorgeous baby tamarin-ginger monkey.
