Dating and relationship: Love at first sight

Do you believe in love at first sight? I use to meet a person and fell in love right away at the first hour of our meetings. I still feel the same way after years. I couldn't change that feelings. There are some people that can give us that impression within minutes of meeting them but we have to look at the meaning of love at first sight though. We have to define what is this love at first sight that we're talking about.

Love at first sight doesn't have to be romantic love where you fell head over heel but it can be an appreciation for the other person to the point that it made you happy and you feel like it's love. Love can be in many forms such as love for your family, for pet, for flowers, for books, for eating, for doing crazy things and love for your lover. Love takes many shapes and forms and they're all different. It can be love for the person's looks or personality or the way they talk or the way they dress. It can be love for many forms but it doesn't have to be romantic love. You could just love the way a guy plays his guitar and you're a musician too. You have this lovely feeling about him because he can do something that you like. He made you happy. You share some similarity or a heart together. You love the same thing so you feel a bond that is blissful.

What is blissful at the first meeting doesn't always end up that way for the rest of the time. I think that a true loving relationship takes time and love at first sight is possible but it doesn't mean that it's long lasting or everything that you expect it to become. You can end up with disappointments and then you will feel like it wasn't love at first sight anymore. I think it's possible for you to have a loving feeling about a person at first glance but it doesn't mean that the impression is ever lasting.

You love his art and then you'll get to know him more but it doesn't mean that you love all of him. Later on after getting to know him and knowing that he is an abusive person you may not ever want to say that you love him. Love at first sight is something lighter than real love for someone. You can have a great feeling about the person until you found out that they're dating you just because of money. Love at first sight is just a small percentage of completely love for the person. It's possible to have a loving feeling about a person at first sight if they have something that we love like their looks, their voice or their smile. Love at first sight is just the beginning though and you have to get to know the person more.
