Convert your office laptop into laptop for gaming. Laptops or netbooks for office generally has characteristic class of low-end graphics card or hardware only supports DirectX 7. laptops or netbooks in this this type, usually have graphic card intel graphics 9XX series (intel 950, intel 900), intel 8xx series (intel 855, intel 852), or Mirage 3.

Laptops or netbooks for office generally have low-end graphics card or hardware only supports DirectX 7. laptops or netbooks in this this type, usually use intel graphics 9XX series (intel 950, intel 900), intel 8xx series (intel 855, intel 852), or Mirage 3. office laptop was not intended specifically for the purposes of 3D graphics rendering process or to play 3D games but it's made for Office Application and Internet.
as an example a laptop that I use the Optima Centoris G200N with the following specifications:

Intel Pentium M 1.5 GHz
Windows XP SP 2
512 MB RAM
Fujitsu 40 GB HDD
Intel GME 855 32-64 MB

My laptop is the first generation of Centrino laptop, maybe you could say it to obsolete for now.
when used to play the game, it is suitable only for playing the old games, soft games, flash games, or games from gamehouse. for serious 3D games, it takes a minimum of graphics cards (VGA), which has a feature hardware TnL (transform & lighting) and vertex shaders.
such as graphics cards intel 9XX series, intel 8xx series, or Mirage 3 who all is not support hardware TnL (Transform & lightning). for this graphics card that fails to play most PC games are generally using TnL features.
There are several ways to emulate vertex shaders and TnL through a kind of 3D software rasterizer-analyze or Swiftshader. The software rasterizer would overload the processor to create a kind of virtual VGA support TnL and vertex shaders. possibility of the processor that provides real results is a Pentium 4 processor with specifications or Pentium M and above.

for Intel 855, Intel 852, Mirage 3 graphics, please use some of the following software:
Game Booster 2, eBoostr, Swiftshader or 3D-analyzer.
I use the software on my laptop itself, and proved to be able to run DirectX 9 games.
info and download link Game Booster 2, please click HERE .
info and download link eBoostr , Please click HERE .
info about 3D-analyzer and Swiftshader, you can find it on Google.

games that have been tried running on my laptop with the software mentioned above include:
Call of Duty united offensive (Swiftshader, high settings, full graphics effect), War World Tactical Combat (low setting, full graphics Swiftshader effect if using), War World Tactical Combat (high settings, some graphics effects do not appear when using the 3D-Analyze ), Lock On (3D-Analyze, low settings, some graphics effects do not appear.) Lock On (Swiftshader, failed).
This screenshot when I'm playing the game War World Tactical Combat with the help Swiftshader.
before using Swiftshader game can not be executed.

to increase the frame rate in game, you can try to upgrade processor, overclocked processor, and add more RAM.

specially for Intel 950, Intel 900 graphics card, please visit this link:

list of games that can be run with Swiftshader:

software rasterizer and the software optimizer only other alternative if we want to upgrade a laptop for gaming.
with the help of the software, not every PC game guaranteed to run smoothly, the causes include: specification of the laptop is less, crashes, configuration error.
