You should consider plenty of moisturizing ointment and cream during the winter time. You should wear warm clothing to protect your skin as well as prevent you from getting sick. You should also avoid beauty products that can dry out your skin. Beauty products like toner can dry out your skin. You should stay away from any facials that can further dry up your skin.

Hot shower can dry up your skin so you should not stay long in the shower. Long hot showers are not the best during Winter. You have to shower within 5 minutes of warm water so that it doesn't dry out your skin too much. Warm water will make you itchy and dry out your skin. You should use products that have a lot of moisturizing power unless you're super oily. You shouldn't use astringent because it can dry out your face further.

You should not use alcohol based products because they can dry out your skin. You should also use sunscreen because it's just as important.
