PTC is not new business on the internet, but recently, it start to get more attention again. If you are new to this. You do need to read this articles. Here I will tell you several different type of PTC, and you will make your own decision to think which part of PTC are scam.

What is PTC, pay to click some thing show on your computer. Sometime you may know as pay to read AD. In the old time, website sell Ad to company, and sell membership to their customers. The website make money from both side, but today pay company want to target certain people, not just "John Doe ABC". So to sell AD, you need to show the company who was read the Ad. But no one want to do something for not thing. So this Ad agent website become PTC site. They PTC you to read, and company get their Ad be read by real people. Basically, it is really good for every one.

But, there are some catch here, the PTC site use multiple layer promotion, "referral promotion". It make this business like pyramid scam. So even you don't need to pay to join, but still make new user feel scare.

Does the PTC real pay you? I not get pay from them yet. I will say, they will pay you, as long as they alive, but you don't know when they will disappear. I start to look into more than 10 PTC site. Here is my view about them.

There are several types of PTC sites. By their name, the first type is  "XXX-BUX", I call bux PTC site. There are lot of new BUX site show up recently, you get pay for 0.01 to 0.001 per click. Most famous is NeoBux, For basic free member, you usually have 4 Ad a day. Some have 5. So it will take you 2 month to reach 2 dollars, which is their pay out minimize. When I sign up for several sites, I found most of the Ad you click is other different PTC site, which mean there are really new in Ad agent business. This is the point which new member need to worry. So all those site are also dependent on upgrade membership, and "rent referral", which mean type of pyramid sell. So do you think this site will alive for long time?

The second type is send you email to read, but you also can read online. A good example is Hit4pay. Similar to PTC, but they have more control on membership, but it is free. There is not much different from read Ad or referral, but this site do have more different type Ad. So they can send you email to ask you to click, or you go to your message box to click. I think this type PTC will alive longer than bux-PTC, because they have more quality control, and different type Ad.

The last type is PTC is Clixsense, Basically, it just a PTC, but not like bux-PTC. It not always have 4 or 5 Ad at your account. It search Ad at the time you request, so you may have 30 Ad at you first time log in, than you get 5 to 10 every day. Ad may expire, once the Ad reach their click number. So if you looking for more, you may need to log in more. This site also have referral, and upgrade promo.  I also think this site can live longer, because it also have more different Ad.

After you know these three type of PTC sites, you may have a idea how to join or keep away from them. I have a PTC site collection list here, you can direct link to those site and join or just take a look.
