You may feel that you have no rights at all - because you can't yet vote, you can't yet drive, and you can't live on your own. In fact, you have many rights simply because you're a human being. Read more . . .

These are some of the rights you have.

1. I have the right to think for myself.

2. I have the right to learn and grow.

3. I have the right to decide what I believe.

4. I have the right to express my beliefs, opinions, and views.

5. I have the right to choose my life's direction.

6. I have the right to say no.

7. I have the right to say yes.

8. I have the right to have and express my feelings.

9. I have the right to be listened to and taken seriously.

10. I have the right to stand up to people who tease me, criticize me, or put me down.

11. I have the right to make mistakes and not do my best all the time.

12. I have the right to make my wants and needs known to others.

13. I have the right to be different.

14. I have the right to be treated with respect.

15. I have the right to respond when someone violates my rights.

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.
