Simple and fool proof technique of How To Choose a Perfect Fit for your bra. You will going to need a measuring tape and a buddy to help with measurements.

How To choose a Perfect Fit for your bra

I met too many women, who does not even know, how to chose a proper bra. Most of them just try a bunch in a fitting room and make a decision based on a brand name, basic feel and look and price.  How does it translates to a perfect fit? It really resembles a random pick on a whim. And there is a price for this (more like price list, covering both health and aesthetic means): tension, back pain, sore shoulders, unsightly rolls and bumps, to name a few.

Bottom line: unfitting bra will make you tired and will spoil your outfit.

But, luckily, there is a simple steps to follow to resolve this issue.

Step1: Measuring the Bust Size.

* Have the woman in her bra to raise her arms out to the sides, forming the letter "T".
* Keeping the tape level, measure softly around the back of her bra band and around the fullest part of her bust.
* Write the measurement down.

Step2:  Measuring the Band Size.

* Measure snugly around the rib cage directly underneath the bust. Pull the tape tight this time.
* If this measurement is less than 33” add 4” to the measurement.
* If the measurement is 33” or more add 3” to the measurement.
* Write the total number down.

Step3 Establish the Cup Size.

* Subtract the band size from the bust size to get the cup size.
* The difference in inches corresponds to the cup size.
* 1” = A Cup, 2” = B Cup, 3” = C Cup, 4” = D Cup, 5” = DD Cup, 6” = DDD Cup

Step4:  Adjust for Odd Band Size.

* After you complete the cup measurement, if the band measurement is an odd number, round up to the next even number. All band sizes are even numbers.

Tips

  • Choose underwire, if you are looking for support.
  • Choose form-fitting cups, is you are looking for improved shape.
  • Consider cotton & microfiber fabric for the best comfort.
  • Consider design of a garment, you will be wearing for a compatible bra. For example: strapless bra for a tube top or one strap for one shoulder dress. So many varieties to enhance deep V-neck, sweetheart, criss-cross or racerback designs.

Warnings

  • The bigger your cup size, the bigger price you pay, wearing wrong bra.
  • Be sure write down all measurements and calculations on a paper and use calculator, if needed.
