Men - How To Tell If They're Lying!!

Keep you eyes and ears open because the next words out of his mouth might just be a lie. Here's how to tell. Read more . . . .

The eyes. Some people avoid contact when they are lying. they get what is called "shifty eyed."

The smile. People smile less when they are lying. Or they try to cover up their lie by forcing themselves to smile. How can you tell the difference between a real smile or a forced smile? A real smile makes wrinkles around the eyes; a forced smile doesn't. A forced smile lasts longer than a real one.

The hands. Liars touch their faces more often than truth-tellers to relieve some of the anxiety they feel when their lying. Practiced liars keep their hands hidden.

The voice. Liars may sigh. Their voices may rise, as if their sentences end with question marks. Their voices sound inappropriate for the surroundings or the occasion - too eager or too restrained, too casual or too urgent.

Mismatches. Does he say, " I love you," in a sing-song voice? Does he claim, " I am so happy for you," in a flat, lifeless voice? Are gentle words paired with angry gestures, or sad eyes with a happy voice?

Motive. What, if anything, does the person have to gain from lying to you? Is there money involved? Does the person think you want something from him?

Reasonableness. You've had enough experience with friends, family, teachers, and others to have a good idea of how people typically act and sound in given situations. Use what you know to stay close to the truth.

Your gut feelings. Trust them. Sometimes they are the only "evidence" you have to go on.

One may sometimes tell a lie, but the grimace that accompanies it tells the truth.
