This is a side seafood appetizer that would fit great with any dish.

This is an authentic mexican dish that i have been working on for a long time in order to make you lick your fingers! Keep in mind that it can either be mild or really hot depending in the intense level of chile you would like on in.

Depending on the amount of people to be served, a plate for 4 would consist of the following....

  1. 2 pounds of jumbo shrimp either already peeled or whole
  2. A bottle of ketchup
  3. 2 spoonfulls of butter
  4. 4 pieces of garlic
  5. one orange
  6. your choice of hot sauce

To begin with you will need to have everything ready before the cooking begins. This meens have the shrimp skinned, or if you want it whole you can peel away during dinner time. Have the garlic thin sliced have the orange squeezed in a cup.

  • Have a wide pan large enough to fit the sea critters
  • Once heated apply the amount of butter
  • Then throw in the garlic
  • then apply the shrimp
  • once the shrimp turns orangy, squeeze the bottle of ketchup untill you hardly see the shrimp in the surface
  • Apply your choice of hot sauce... i prefer mild...and add the orange juice
  • Stir and wait for little boiling bubbles on the surface indicating that its ready

This plate goes really good with a side of rice and a salad. I have cooked this for partys and special diners for those who cant cook, and people enjoy in!

There you have it! Its called Camaronez a la Diabla which means Shrimp for the Devil's Delight and its verry delicious!

Enjoy! =D
