Ways to Make $100 a Day on The Internet

Everyone seems to be looking for ways to make money online. There is a lot of hype out there, and some of it is true.  There is also a lot of people who do not make a plan or stick to the plan.  

Making $100 a day online is very possible with the right amount of effort focused on repeatable results.  Here are several strategies.

Become a freelance writer with Constant Content

How does it works? 

Write high quality error free articles suitable for the web. Post them up on Constant Content for sale. Wait for buyers to come looking for your articles, and submit articles to public requests.    

What is the math?

You set your own prices but a 500 word article can sell for $30 on Constant Content.  More for longer articles, maybe less for shorter articles. The site takes 35% of editorial support, marketing and operations.  You keep 65% of the sale amount.  So on average your articles should net about $20 in your paypal account.   

A good writer can knock off a 500 word article in an hour (especially if you research once and write multiple articles from the same research).  About 70% of articles sell on Constant Content, the rest are still waiting to sell.  So of you write up 7 X $30 articles in a day, and 5 of them sell, you've made $100 (5 x $20 net).  Remember that you will likely be writing some higher value articles as well, so even 2 or 3 longer articles a day is enough to get to $100 a day.

$ 100 net to you => $154 Gross Sales (after CC's cut) => $220 (assume 70% sell through) in articles posted up each day to make a hundred dollars a day. 

Realistically when can one earn $100 a day?  

It will take some time to get to $100 a day on Constant Content.  The key to consistent income is building a big catalog of articles for buyers to buy.  Just keep adding to your catalog every day and watch the sales roll in.  Some full time Constant Content authors recommend keeping at least 100 articles in your unsold catalog, replacing them as they sell out of course.  It is going to take a few weeks to build the critical mass of article inventory that will generate a steady paycheck.

How does It work?

Answer and ask questions on pretty much any topic.  Once you have 10 answers posted you can add your Adsense ID into the site and receive a share of the advertising revenue.  WebAnswers has a very good click through rate in my experience and you will see immediate results if you dedicate time to the site.

Several side benefits are you will learn a lot on the site, and you can use it carefully to build links to some of your articles on other sites.

What is the math?

WebAnswers earnings are completely dependent on Google Adsense sharing.  Some topics will give higher value ads then other topics.  Some topics have higher click through rates.  Do some reading on the high value keywords concept so you can write on higher value topics.  Building some knowledge of SEO (esp keywords) will help you earn more with Adsense and WebAnswers, but don't let a lack of knowledge stop you from getting started - it will work as long as you answer the questions well.

Also watch the number of views per question - you will quickly see that some questions have way more views than others.  Lots of views indicates that many people find the topic interesting so go after those questions.

If you count the money you will earn over the year that your Adsense Code is shown, probably you can earn $100 the very first day you put in a full day at WebAnswers.  If you want to be earning $100 on each day, than you need to spend enough time on the site to build your earnings up to the $100 a day level.  You can directly watch your progress in nearly real time over on your Adsense Account.  Few people have the dedication to work day by day answering questions but it can really pay off.

How and when do you get paid? 

Google Adsense pays you directly via check in US$.  Checks are cut once a month, when your account is over $100 at the cut off date.  

Write Articles on Bukisa

How does it work?

What is the math?

Adsense shares 68% of what they charge the advertiser. Bukisa shares 60% of that.  

To get views you need to understand and practive keyword picking and backlinking.  Some good quality links in forums, blogs, and other articles will help drive up those views.    

It is going to take some serious effort to get to $100 a day on just Bukisa, but if you get there you could stop writing and just coast, collecting your earnings everyday passively without further effort. 

The other way to look at Bukisa is in terms of total earnings over time.  Say you can get your daily earnings up to even $1 a day on the site and than you stop.  That $1 a day will add up to over $300 a year, which means you can spend a few days building new income streams without any more effort at Bukisa.  

Realistically  when can one earn $100 a day?

With dedicated effort, maybe a year or more.  It really depends on your ability to create popular articles and get traffic to them.  Bukisa helps by displaying related articles on other articles, but your backlinking is going to really make the difference.  Since you will want to build links from other Web 2.0 sites where you can earn based on Adsense, you may want to look at Bukisa as part of an over all strategy to earn passive income.

Expect some articles will be winners with lots of views and others to be duds that just do not draw readers.  Send more links to the winners, work to Improve the duds, or just focus on putting up more articles and building links to that content.

Write Articles on InfoBarrel

How does it work?

You create content and Infobarrel hosts it.  You add your Adsense account, Amazon Associates account and Chitika account to your profile page.  Infobarrel shares between 75% and 90% of the revenue with you.  Also, you can use affiliate links in Infobarrel articles (as long as the links are contextual and not spammy).  

What is the math?

Adsense shares 68% of what they charge advertisers for every click (and to a much smaller extent, impressions).  Infobarrel shares between 75% and 90% of that revenue.

Amazon shares between 4% and 15% of every sale resulting from a click someone makes using your Amazon links.  Infobarrel sets up the links based on keywords you specify. 

Chitika pays you based on the clicks your articles generate.  No specific formula known.

Infobarrel shares 2% of Adsense impressiona with the writer that refers you toInfobarrel.  Not much cash, but a nice token for helping grow the site.  The little icon acheivements and points (no monetary value) are more exciting.

Realistically when can one earn $100 a day?  

Similar to Bukisa, it will take some serious effort on Infobarrel to build up to $100 a day, but remember your efforts will last for a long time.  It is not unreasonable to assume that a day of focused article writing and link promotion can yield over $100 in the course of the next year, especially with a good site like Infobarrel backing your efforts up with it's growing traffic and good SEO efforts.

Adsense pays out when all your Adsense earnings reach $100 at the end of the month. You can opt for check or direct deposit. Chitika has a lower payout level but it is harder to earn on Chitika. Amazon similarly pays you directly or use your earnings to shop.

How does it work?

oDesk is a freelance marketplace where people who need work done meet people willing to work.  According to oDesk, there are over 1 million contractors and over 1.1 million jobs on the system.  If you have skills ranging from programing, design, writing or the ability to be a virtual assistant than you can bid on jobs and earn money.  With a little effort it should not be hard to earn $100 a day once you gain some feedback (consider starting with some low bids to learn the system and get some positive feedback).  

What is the math?

oDesk takes 10% of each transaction for making the connection, collecting and paying the money, covering credit card charges etc.  Your hourly rate or contract price that you agree to deturmines how much you make.

Realistically when can you earn $100 a day?

Within days if you apply yourself, build an attractive profile, take oDesk tests to demonstrate your skills, and actively bid on jobs with personalized cover letters.

How and when do you get paid?

Payments on oDesk are processed weekly. US based contractors can get free direct deposit to your bank account.  Local funds transfer is available to Austrilia, India and the Philippines for a small fee.  Moneybookers, prepaid Mastercard, wire transfer and Paypal are also all payment alternatives.
