How to Read Tarot Cards - 03 - The Empress (Reversed)

The Empress (Reversed) On Her Own

The Empress (Reversed) on her own is a card suggested a person who's personal life is falling apart. There are bad relationships with family and loved ones, financially she's not doing so hot, but most of all she is depressed. It is the depression that keeps her where she is instead of finding ways to improve her situation.

1. The Empress (Reversed) as the Center

The Empress (Reversed) as the Center suggests the situation isn't going the way it was planned. The receiver had a clear idea going into the situation, but now she is lost and making choices that don't help, but hurt the situation.

2. The Empress (Reversed) as the Obstacle

The Empress (Reversed) as the Obstacle suggests there are multiple factors to the situation which need improvement. Fixing any one of those problems may help, but it's not the whole issue. There is a lot of work to be done about this situation.

3. The Empress (Reversed) as the Super-Conscious

The Empress (Reversed) as the Super-Conscious suggests the receiver is feeling hopeless about the situation. She's running around in circles, trying to make things right, but nothing seems to be happening – or the situation just keeps getting worse because of it.

4. The Empress (Reversed) as the Recent Future

The Empress (Reversed) as the Recent Future suggests the receiver is headed towards some bad times in her personal life. Whether she can see this coming or not is unclear, but the choices she makes now will directly influence where she is going in this situation.

5. The Empress (Reversed) as the Subconscious

The Empress (Reversed) as the Subconscious suggests the receiver is dwelling on the situation at hand in an unproductive way. She keeps drilling the problems over and over in her head only causing more of a hassle than finding solutions.

6. The Empress (Reversed) as the Recent Past

The Empress (Reversed) as the Recent Past suggests the situation has been in a downward spiral for some time, and the confusion the receiver is experiencing is only adding to the situation.

The Empress (Reversed) as the Receiver suggests the receiver isn't well equipped to deal with this situation. Depression is common at this state, and this frame of mind isn't good for any sort of problem solving.

8. The Empress (Reversed) as the Influence

The Empress (Reversed) as the Influence suggests the receiver doesn't have a healthy personal life. Things are falling apart left and right and this directly correlates to the situation. If any advice is being followed by the receiver from people at home, it is doing more harm than good.

9. The Empress (Reversed) as the Intuition

The Empress (Reversed) as the Intuition suggest the receiver doesn't have much faith in her personal life getting any better any time soon. She is constantly seeing the negative outcomes of the situation and sees no way for anything good to come of it.

10. The Empress (Reversed) as the Outcome

The Empress (Reversed) as the Outcome suggests the situation is bringing the receiver to a time of depression. Relationships will crumble, and home life will deteriorate.
