What to do if you lose your Job

As unemployment rises and companies start shedding their employees the risk of being unemployed becomes a worry, once you lose your job the financial strain and burden becomes a very significant problem. It is best to remain positive as when one door closes several others are opening, losing your job may have been the breakthrough you needed to persue your dreams. Here are 5 steps you can take if you happen to be in this position.

STEP 1 - PERSUE YOUR DREAMS

If you were in your previous job just for the money then you are in a great position now, you may wish to rekindle a dream job or role that you had and losing your job may give you the opportunity to seek this dream, remember at times of desperation we need to persue what we beleive in and persuing this dream which may have been working with children or something will make you happier in the long run as you are doing something you enjoy.

STEP 2 - BECOME A ENTREPRENUER

Why not work for yourself? you will not have a boss to answer to, you will be able to build something from scratch that you can call your own and work hard for. You can keep on building the businss until it is at a level where you can just sit back and allow someone else to manage while you just look at the progress the company is making each month, this will give you more time to spend on what is more important such as your family.

STEP 3 - WORK ON MULTIPLE INCOME STREAMS

There are sevaral income streams that we can build up, they are income, property, stockmarket, busines and the internet. Why not work on ways to develop other income streams so that in the case of losing your job you can quite easily get by as their are other jobs to income streams to fall back on. Knowing that you have several income streams is a gloroius feeling as you need not stay awake at night worrying how you are going to get thorugh life without the money you need for the lifestyle you lead.

STEP 4 - WRITE A BOOK

It may be that you have a lot of free time and you posess a area of expertise that is of demand, why not write a book and promote it over the internet. For example if you write a ebook on Acne, Stockmarket and Options Trading each costing $20.00 and you sell 50 a month then you have $1000.00, the more you promote your book the more sales you will acheive.You will see that people are benefiting from your work and that you have made a difference to their life.

STEP 5 - PASSIVE INCOME/RESIDUAL INCOME

Look for ways to acheive passive or residual income, why not become a writer of articles for bukisa and make money when people view your articles? make a business online and monetize your website using google adsense.
