How to Make Kraft Thousand Island Salad Dressing
Why pay more for prepared salad dressing? When in less time than it takes to find it in your grocery store you can make your own and save money at the same time.
Out of salad dressing? There's no need to rush out to the grocery store. In just a few minutes you can make your own and save that gas money. You can make it from items most people already have in their homes. It taste just like the Kraft dressing your used to buying and it will be fresh as well.
Simply mix the following:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoon ketchup
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoon sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon finely minced onion
1/8 teaspoon salt
dash of black pepper
Place all the above ingredients into a small mixing bowl and stir well. Then place your dressing in a covered container and refrigerate for several hours. Stir occasionally. You want to store and stir long enough to allow the sugar to dissolves and all the flavors to blend.
If you are like me, in todays world, you need to save all the money you can. You'll be able to save a great deal if you simply forego all the prepared items your used to buying. Most can be quickly made out items you already have at home. This saves time, money, and also gas money you don't have to have when going to a store just to pick up one or more of these items.
