Make you own Kraft Catalina Salad Dressing with items you probably already have at home. Don't waste time running out, when in just a few second you can make it yourself and save money at the same time.

In today's economy in an effort to save money I'm learning to shy away from the prepared items and make my own. It take only a few minutes, and all you need do is mix a few items you probably have at home.

1 cup sugar

2 teaspoon salt

dash paprika

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

grated onion to taste

1/2 cup vinegar

1 cup vegetable oil

Stir then place all ingredients in a blender. Puree til mixture is smooth. Place in jar for storage in refrigerator. You can always double or triple the above if you use a lot salad dressing. Can be stored up to 90 days in a refrigerator.

If you are like me, in todays world, you need to save all the money you can.  You'll be able to save a great deal if you simply forego all the prepared items your used to buying. Most can be quickly made out items you already have at home. This save time, money, and also gas money you don't have to have when going to a store just to pick up one or more of these items.
