Clear up your babies diaper rash quickly, before it get's much worse!

The best thing you can do for a babies diaper rash is let your baby go diaperless for as long as you can! Getting air is the best thing for clearing up the rash. You can try it while your little one is sleeping, just undo the diaper. I'd reccomend keeping the diaper underneath( if not then a towel) just in case there's an accident!!

The next most important thing is to change the diaper as soon as it is wet (typically every hour or two). This is because sittingĀ  too long in the moisture and acidity can cause the rash, the bacteria in urine and fecies multiplys once it leaves our bodies.

Use a diaper rash cream. The common traditional method is plain zinx oxide mixed with vaseline. There are other products out there with the same basic ingredients to help soothe the skin. FOr severe rashes, try "butt paste".

Use plain water instead of baby wipes. Some baby wipes contain fragrences and other things, which won't help. Instead try useing a bulb syringe, dipping it into a bowl of warm water and squeeze a bit into the diaper area. Then dry the area with a clean dry cloth.

Try changeing diaper brands. Some brands these days contain a lot of irritants that will bother certain little one's delicate skin. or maybe the diaper brand isn't absorbant enough.

If all fails, i strongly advise going to your pediatrician for further advice. So he can prescribe a over the counter remedy. It could also end up being a yeast infection instead.
