Well to let you know that there are alot of ways to lay tile. And alot of different tile. And also alot of different grout that you can use. Although alot of people hire proffessionals you can do it yourself if you are dedicated to it and have patents.

Step

First off you will need to tear up anything that is in your way. Where you plan on setting the tile. Then clean the area really good. Because if you dont you will get bumps or unlevel tile.

Step

Second you will need to mix your bag of thinset. I would prefer you use thinset over cement because cement is alot harder to work with. And also harder to mix. Step Third find the center of the room and mark a center line from wherever you are going to start at. I would also prefer working back to front so you dont trap yourself into a little corner. Step Fourth get the tiles and the thinset and put the first tile on the line that you had made at the beggining and put a spacer inbetween the tiles you have set. From there you just follow that tile on down wherever you are headed and cut any tiles that need cutting with the wet saw. You might want to keep it nice and clean. But that always doesnt happen so its cool if not. Step Fifth after you are done with laying the tile you will want it to dry before any further performance on the tile. Once the tiles have dried then you will want to get the grout that you had gotten and mix that up. Then get your floater and put the grout on the tile and spread it around evenly just like butter. Go over the whole floor with the grout. Step Sixth after you have finished grouting clean the mess that you had made with the sponge that you have. And keep cleaning until it is very clean. it takes awhile because how dirty the grout can be. So good luck and hope this was helpful.

Great instructions. We’re doing more DIY projects so this may come in handy.
