St. Patrick's Day parade in Los Angeles

This St. Patrick’s holiday you can participate in parades and festival if you’re living in Los Angeles. There will be a parade at Hermosa Beach on March 14, 2009 ending on a Saturday. The parade starts at 11am and end at 5pm. It’ll be at the intersection of Pier and Valley drive, west to Hermosa Ave. then S. on Hermosa to 9th St. The cost is free.

You can park at metered or find some place in the neighborhood. There is a concert at the Key Club on 9039 Sunset blvd, LA on Saturday, March 14, 2009. The cost is $25. You would also have a St. Patrick’s Day parade at downtown LA. The parade will start on Main St. and Arcadia St. and then to 5th and Pershing Square. The parade will be free to all wearing green.

Lorenzo Lamas will sing the National Anthem as well as performances by Young Dubliners. It’ll be on March 17, 2009 at 11:30am to 12:30. The festival will be from 11am to 7pm. You can park at the Pershing Square and the metered parking. UCLA will also have an event on March 17, at 8pm at Royce Hall. The cost is $28 -$56. Parking is $9. You will get to see Irish folk rock band Moving hearts playing Irish music. If you do attend the events, you should get there on time with warm clothing, money for parking, early arrival for parkings, cell phone, and dressing in green.
