You'll never believe how easy this Red Velvet Cheesecake is to make. This rich cake will be the hit of any dinner and your friends will think you spent a lot of time on it but you really spent about 2 hours (from start to finish ~ including baking and cooling time).

To make this Easy Red Velvet Cheesecake you need two basic things: Duncan Hines Moist Delux Red Velvet Cake Mix & Philadelphia Brand Cheesecake filling.

Mix the Duncan Hines Moist Delux Red Velvet Cake according to the box. Spray your cake pan with a nonstick spray (I find it helps even with non-stick pans so the cake comes out without falling apart). Bake according to the instructions on the box. I like to bake it in a bundt pan because I like the look of a bundt cake. A bundt cake will make your dessert look more complicated than it is.

When your cake is finished baking, carefully take it out of the oven and place cake (while still in the pan) on a wire rack to cool (about 30 minutes). Once it's cool, carefully put it onto a serving plate (or whatever you plan to serve from).

It's time for the Philadelphia Brand Cheesecake filling. Cut the top of the cake off (about halfway). Set the top half aside for later. Spread a thin layer of cheesecake filling over the bottom half. Once the bottom layer is covered, it will look like the picture. Put the top half of your cake back on the bottom half (It should resemble a fancy ice-cream sandwich). Use the rest of the cheesecake filling to ice the cake. Once done icing the cake, serve. Enjoy!
